Relax... it's all relative... I think they are pricey like the OME's are pricey... or any aftermarket performance shock for that matter.

By the way, at 75k... you are most likely due for new shocks. Mine has 61k... and I had to replace them.

I've heard good things about the Bilsteins... they are just a little pricey. I purchased a set of OME shocks. I'm happy with them, but I'm not certain if they will hold up as well as the Bilsteins. I've had Bilsteins before on others cars and loved them.

Just found a 2003 in really good condition with 61k miles on it. I paid under $28 for it and with what was available within a 100 mile radius of me... I think I did okay. The miles on the car are relative I would think in the LC... just like you said, it all depends on how it was treated before...

I had to do the same thing... 3rd child on the way within days and the FJ that was only a year old wouldn't work. Just purchased a 2003 LC... I absolutely love it... need to get some wheels put on it though... the stock 18" aren't cutting it.

new LC I just purchased a 2003 LC. Sold my FJ for it... spent close to 8 weeks looking for the right one. Finally found one for 28k and talked him down slightly... cleanest one I could fine. 61k miles on it with some minor scratches, but they buffed out fine... did the Carfax and it came back...
