fixed a leaky rear LHS axle shaft seal that made a bit of a mess of the hand brake shoes and then spent the day on the Goulburn river
I must have got it early as the oil level in the diff hadnt dropped much
Got these today and installed them. Way better than stock now that the wires can be cleaned up. They hold strong on the battery terminals and feel like a solid product.

Might be easier to route your power cables through this grommet. I routed my Toyobd1 cables through this opening and it exits/enters above your footwell. Take your glove compartment off for better viewing and access.
100% ....35's are the sweet spot for a mild 80 series build. You don't really have to do much more than 2-3" lift and add the 35" tires and enjoy. 37's = slippery slope but worth it if the wheeling you will be doing is more than mild.

Testing the Bluetti Charger 1 on a stock, original alternator and it works great in the short time testing. I thought it would bring down the voltage a lot more. I had the AC with the fan almost on full blast.
Replaced all the tie rod ends with one of the 555 kits from @cruiseroutfit set toe in, centered the steering wheel(it was off by 1/4 turn and drove me nuts) and did a stereo upgrade.
With @whiskeytooth's help, got the new OME 861/862 springs in along with a set of Koni Heavy Track Raid shocks. Rear suspension fought all the way because of rust. I'm excited to see how the new shocks are.
Well we brought our 80 across half of Norway for summer hollyday! I love the car!
Still need a lot of care, but the engine is now working good, going to get some new injector in that just arrived yesterday.
