I had a GTO opener, I think they make mighty mule or vice versa, and it was a piece of S**T. It just did not have enough power to move the gate.
So now i want to go with an AC current worm gear motor instead of the battery and DC current opener.
I am going to buy a gate opener to my property. I live pretty far out in the country and dont need unwanted folks coming and scoping out my stuff while i am at work! Does anyone here have any experience with a good industrial type gate opener that will last and provide good service?
Thanks guys the amplifier is new and it has a full charge of refridgerant so i am guessing it has to be the low presssure switch. I was hoping that it was somewhere besides the evaporator core housing. I know what a pain that is to take out.
My compressor will not cycle on, unless i apply 12v to the wire feeding the compressor. Yes it is charged with refridgerant. Is there some kind of low pressure switch that i need to check. My fuse is OK and the light on the AC buttoon is lit up. Any help would be appreciated.
Mine runs warm too. The cam is so small on the tbi motor that you dont have enough overlap to bleed cylinder pressure which causes the high temps. I have tried 160, 180 thermostats mechanical fan, electric fans, 4 flue steel radiator, aluminum radiators etc... I just live with it. Wait until...
