CAD Files or Drawings for 80-Series??

Do does anybody on planet Earth have a link to a free 3D model of the 80 series? A DXF or even an STL?

For Sale San Diego, 80 series (and others too) drawer system

I just saw the trekboxx a moment ago and they actually offer the same stuff, same layout but they add a metal cargo barrier and paint stuff with bedliner (polyurea) too. So actually I can price-match them by adding a cargo barrier for almost $2K.

Eaton E-Locker: Who? Where? or DIY?

No. I am in San Diego and my son needs to regear his diffs so I figured that instead of looking for someone nearby I will simply have an excuse to make a trip to Arizona and wait 3 days, visiting nearby parks and campgrounds, and then go back home. But if you don't have time for that I would...

Eaton E-Locker: Who? Where? or DIY?

Zuk is the go-to person but he no longer accepts shipping. Only in person. He's been doing it for decades so I understand that he is probably tired of the post office.

Where do you buy your OEM oil filters

Walmart, Amazon, Ebay etc. A filter is a relatively non-crucial part so it doesn't matter much. Here it's $31 for 5 pieces.

Is this a bad idea? (fuel bags)

In general not a bad idea but it renders your back area totally useless: you can't step on them, you can't put anything on them, especially a photo tripod or an axe. Honestly, I would buy some aluminum tanks off ebay and just toss them in there for the trip. Strong enough to put cargo over them...

    Tailgate Cutting Boards - 200 Series/LX570

Are you still looking for these? Making stuff out of luxury wood materials is my daily bread. I make drawer systems for example. So as long as we somehow manage to get all the measurements right, I can cut these for you at a reasonable price.

Quad headlights in US 80 series

Does anyone have the link to a us based seller for the corner lights? Paying 60 bucks shipping for a pair of 40 buck lights from Australia is ridiculous

    Drawer System Pros and Cons

The only cons are weight but honestly, 60lb won't make a huge change. It's like carrying a dog in the back. Of course there are much heavier drawers so look for the ones make with better materials. The pros are a huge improvement in organization, the possibility to sleep without removing the...

    Drive shaft length

The year model is important. I might be wrong but there are two transfer cases. One is the HF2A which was present in earlier models, probably 90-94, and the HF2AV which is longer because the V letter is for the viscous coupler built in the back of it. So the longer transfer case will need a...

Radius arm plates and panhard mounts...

But regarding the steering, do you think it would be an issue in practice? Some people install high steer arms which already throw the pivot points and angles a few inches off (see attached pic link). I assume that extreme suspension travel might create some movement in the steering wheel but...

Radius arm plates and panhard mounts...

I would like to know what I don't know. We all know that lifted cruisers need to have their suspension adjusted and... 1. It seems to me that the radius arm plates made by eimkeith are much better than the caster correction plates or eccentric bushings because they retain the same caster angle...
