Zman, can you give the specifics on what parts you used? Did you use the standard twin-tube yellow Dobinson's shocks or the MRR with reservoir? Which springs did you order? Do you still like the ride on the highway? I don't think I'm quite ready to step up to the cost of the MRR or the FCPs...

@stilespendleton did you end up cutting your running boards and reinstalling them around the sliders? it looks much more finished. out of curiosity, what kind of hit have you taken to gas mileage with the 33" tires? and by the way, your "light build thread" is becoming less and less "light."...

do y'all think running 255s would have significant drawbacks for mild off roading (or visual appearance). i seem to think the loss of 1cm wouldn't matter much. and sorry for the basic questions. i'm a brand new GX owner and brand new 4wd owner.

Just wondering if you had tried out those 255/70/18s? i am in need of new tires, and wanted something a bit taller but i'm not ready for any suspension changes yet. I love the look stilespendleton has gotten, but i gotta do mine slowly.
