I’ve recently received a 2011 GX460 with rear entertainment system. There is an option for “Video Input” in the source menu. My question is where is the inputs located?
Also- are there any other comparable options to the GROM VL2 for these models? Thanks!
Anyone happen to have the codes needed to program the scan gauge 2 that I just bought to read Transmission fluid Temp? I tried the ones I could find on their website, but it doesn’t seem to be giving me proper reading. It is reading 350, from cold start, and it doesn’t ever change.
@dieselgeek I purchased air bags, they’re on the way. Also got a WDS coming. Yesterday I got my Scan Gauge. I plugged in the codes that I could find on their website, and I only got a TFT reading on like 2-3 of them. But the TFT was reading 350 when idling in my driveway. What in the world?
I guess maybe I’m new to Lexus and Toyota. It puts a little fear in my heart to think about pulling my 6000lb camper at a pretty constant 3500-4500 rpm. Is that fear not rational? 😂
After much consideration, I’ve almost decided to add air bags to the rear and only pump them up when towing camper. I’m curious though, how does the AHC react when those air bags and springs are there? I’m concerned that the AHC might freak out and try to either drop all the way because the load...
Thanks! This is a dual axle camper trailer, and the only thing about a lot of the camping spots in Tn is the fact that they are usually a little hilly, so I am slightly concerned about trans temp. This “scan tool” would it just plug into OBD?
@suprarx7nut also it helps to mention this is my work vehicle and I usually have about 300-500lbs of Construction tools in the back at all times unless using it for a vacation trip lol 😂
@suprarx7nut So I’m following you correctly, if I’m still experiencing this same issue once I install the weight distribution hitch system, then I should have the springs replaced? I’m not a mechanic, so I wouldn’t feel too comfy making any changes to the AHC on my own.
