    stock FJ80 wheels

Thanks for the enlightenment. I was told that they were a factory option on my year LC, but I'm by no means an expert. They were on the 80 when I got it, but I liked the look of the black wheels (off my 4Runner) better so I traded them out. Now I'm getting rid of the LC wheels...

My 80 is a '92, I'll get pics up later, not at my home comp right now.

Flat washers or cones? On the wheels? The wheels use regular lugnuts, no need for shanked "mag-lugs."

    stock FJ80 wheels

Wheels/Tires Gone! Also have a set of tube steps that were installed when I bought my 80, will take $100 for. Full set of flares and mudflaps off my FJ80, red in color, good shape, $100 for all of it. Also got a single DIN stereo install kit with pocket, unknown vendor, removed to...

    80 series axle SAS into a '92 4Runner???'s

Yeah, that's what I'm discovering. I think the width is overrated from what I'm discovering too. The HP centersection will bolt into a mini housing with minimal (if any) clearancing, and I can widen it using SKY's kit, and if I still need more width I can get the wheel backspacing adjusted to...

    80 series axle SAS into a '92 4Runner???'s

$$$ mostly, that and the radius arm 80 front isn't a very flexy front setup. Then there's always the alignment issues that I'd end up with. While having a well tuned 3 link front is an apealing option it really isn't in my timeframe or budget right now.

    80 series axle SAS into a '92 4Runner???'s

I think we're carrying on 2 different conversations at once. I think that stock, the 80 front is stronger than a D44, just not as tight a turning radius. I just have to wonder how much stress I'd be putting on the knuckle balls by widening the mini front. The stock mini birfs aren't as...

    80 series axle SAS into a '92 4Runner???'s

I want a nice wide footprint because it's gonna be a family wheeler that my wife will drive too, so I don't want it tippy feeling enough that she doesn't wanna drive it. I think strength wise the 80 front is stronger in stock form than the D44's I might scource, the 80 uses a HP carrier in the...

    80 series axle SAS into a '92 4Runner???'s

I'm planning on either a Taco axle, or the new trailgear high clearance axle Taco width +2. Either way, it's gonna get a FF kit and/or discs. Trail-Gear Inc > Axle Housing

    80 series axle SAS into a '92 4Runner???'s

So I searched, and I didn't quite find what I'm looking for. I wanna do an SAS on my "new" '92 4Runner, and I'm thinking of using an 80 series axle for the HP third and the extra width. I know I could just buy a diamond housing, but in the end I think the 80 axle would be more than adequate...
