I’ve been going through knuckle hell and trying to make sense of the last instruction in the Fsm procedure.
They refer to the scribe tool as the ‘plug’. Your supposed to put a feeler gauge between the plug and gauge rod. I don’t get it at all.

They do an important job so the consensus at the time was to go 10.9 if replacing abs get an upgrade at the same time.
They were reasonably time consuming to drill out though. And difficult to extract all the broken drill bits out of the heads.
I’m in New Zealand so my search results may vary if in the US. I bought suitable 10.9 bolts from EBay from a US manufacturer, cut them to length, made a drilling jig and drilled them myself

Mine are fine in that they are still pliable but one has yellowed and I cannot correct the colour. +1 for a repro

Just wondering if it’s common to use oil filter #90915TD004 as the original #1560041010 is no longer available. If not, what is the genuine replacement part?

Mainly it’s because the part numbers are a nightmare.
If someone wants to chime in with the part number for a grade 10.9 m8x1.25 30mm (22mm thread/10mm blank shank) hex bolt with a drilled head I’m all ears.
