i replaced mine last year ( during the H55f upgrade). Got the part from cruiserparts.net for 100 bucks and the keyway(or whatever its called) from toyota for 5 bucks or so. I would also purchase a new crankshaft pulley nut (42mm) from toyota as well. You will not be able to reuse the old one...
Civil1-- i just finished my H55f conversion (87FJ60) and bought mine from cruiserparts.net.......i was very happy with the service and the prouduct....but definitely plan to spend a week (or two) doing the conversion. I would be very careful during the install as i managed to break my crankshaft...
Thanks-- will cutting it off/welding effect the harmonic balancer? (what ever that is) I'm not really familiar with the crankshaft/pulley assembly. I thought the 5 speed conversion was the most complicated project i was gonna do with my LC. BTW- with the pulley floating - would that cause...
