I haven't posted in many months, but this kind of stuff really ticks me off. Look up the Magnusson-Moss act. As Lukezero said, your dealer CAN NOT void your entire warranty because of you had some spacers installed. Get another dealer, there are some out there who will treat you honestly.

I'd be curious too, I have a strong running '76 2F with a header. Runs great in any temp, but warm up time on cold days is very long. I had always assumed that a fluid heat riser would speed that up, no? Once it's warm it runs great, so if there's no real benefit, I guess I'll move the fluid...
I have the rear conversion kit from TSM with no proportioning valve. They told me over the phone that at least 50% of the FJ40 conversions they sell end up not needing the valve.
In daily driving I've not had any issues, and only had one "panic stop" situation. In a hard rain some kids on...
I'll give you $30 + the ride for the license plate light holder/logo on the tail gate. It sounds like you're trying to keep the doors complete, but if you are willing to start taking them apart, that's what I need. Let me know.

Got to jump on the bandwagon here. Poly tanks suck. I just finished sealing all of my connections for the second time, still have gas fumes. I'll be getting an OEM steel tank as soon as my tax return comes in.
Don't give up that sweet 62. Just get a 40 to go along with it, then your dog will be happy like mine. She loves both. Here she is from last summer having a doggy mental breakdown. Both trucks are ready to go, so she can't decide which one to get in.
My JVC 6 disk changer mounted under the passenger seat ('89 FJ62, 232k original suspension) very rarely skips even on extremely bumpy roads. Skips seem to come at random times, I've found that single bumps at specific speeds are more likely to cause skips than repeated violent washboard type...
Ditto all this, and I just went with whatever thermostat Cruiser Dan sent me. With CDan parts, I don't ask, I just trust. Temp has stayed right where I want it for nearly a year, in everything from 10 below to 110 above with the A/C blasting, so whatever thermostat I got, it's the right one...
I've spoken with an auto broker about this, she recommends the ozone machine as well. I think I've seen less expensive versions that plug into a cigarette lighter, maybe try Sharper Image or Brookstone?
I had a car in high school that smelled like the PO's cigarettes. Try spilling a bunch...
I'm running about 4" of lift on my '76, by virtue of extended shackles and some newer looking leaf springs, I believe all those parts are HFS (it's a P.O. install). Also have the Procomp 3000s.
Can't honestly say that I have any complaints, but with stiff springs and 33" BFG mud's, it...
