Anyone install a power steering cooler on your 460?

The Los Padres NF is practically my backyard, so I'll do a day trip to hit some OHV trails sporadically. I'm a huge desert nerd especially when it comes to mining, train, or native history. The majority of my logged desert miles are in the Mojave area north of the 40 and east of the 395. Death...

Anyone install a power steering cooler on your 460?

A few weeks ago I was venturing though Death Valley, California, and it was on the warm side. The trail I was on was very rocky, high in altitude, at a steady incline, and slow-going, monitoring my transmission temps they were getting up there even with my little Hayden oil cooler. I'm upgrading...

    Aluminum Rear Bumper?

I'm running an aluminum factor 55 knock off receiver shackle mount in my class 5 receiver to act as a "sacrificial anode". Helps save the bumper!

    Experience with Perry

I have some HARD miles on my Perry bumps front and rear, and they've been holding up great. Now, they're not hydro or air bumps but for the price they're totally worth it. There was a desert road I was on this past fall turning out about 50mph when I hit a sizeable dip and went airborn with my...

Tapping into the 30a 12v off the 7-pin for cargo power?

I don't have the power folding rear seats, so instead of running wire from my battery I had another thought. I'm looking to install a few switched KC Cyclone lights in the rear cargo area of my 2020 GX as that is where all the cooking is done while camping. My GX came with the tow package and...

2022 gx 460 victory blitz install

Are your parking sensors working? I installed their Strike bumper on my GX and my parking sensors are being triggered by the recovery points. After messing around with them a bunch and contacting Victory I'm still yet to come up with a solution.

    2016, GX Clunk in rear

I would start off by climbing under the back of your GX and visually inspecting all the suspension components also giving them a wiggle by hand to see if anything is worn or loose. Could also be the spare tire not being secured tightly. Have you checked your seat belts? I've had my seat belts...

    Exhaust reroute

How's the drone without the resonator? I'm thinking about chopping mine off but I don't want to add any in-cab noise.

Need a roof rack recomendation that's compatible with the carwash.

They sit close to the roof but do not touch even with me walking across putting my full weight (200ish lbs) on the crossbars. I don't buy their claim of increasing MPG, but I didn't notice a drop either.

I have the Westcott rack and I’m very pleased with the build quality. Best of all there’s pretty much zero wind noise, and I didn’t notice a change in my MPG after installing it.

Adding a Trans Cooler, to Fan or not to Fan?

Adding a Trans Cooler, to Fan or not to Fan?

Here was the setup I fabbed and installed on my old Ram 2500. Derale uses Spal fans and from my experience these things CRANK and hold up to the elements really well. This under belly cooler set up worked amazingly.

Adding a Trans Cooler, to Fan or not to Fan?

Perks of having a vehicle with Land Cruiser roots! I just ordered a Hayden 678. I really appreciate the input.

Adding a Trans Cooler, to Fan or not to Fan?

It is steep, I have very little free time making it worth having someone else just make it. Plus these brackets look really well made so I know it’ll be able to handle an aux fan if I decide to run one in the future.

Adding a Trans Cooler, to Fan or not to Fan?

I decided the route I’m going to take. I’m going with a Hayden 678 or 698 with an internal bypass. Both are priced the same and have the same dimensions. I found a mounting solution that looks really well made for these coolers made by Mountain Passes Off-road.
