    Is my R12 A/C retrofited to r134a ?

Actually I see now that those little guide posts can be easily removed....which means the r12 hoses now fit into the holes. Whether or not that is right remains to be seen!

    Is my R12 A/C retrofited to r134a ?

Hi guys, hoping someone might have some advice for me. I've got a May 1993 1FZFE which I believe was originally fitted with an R12 system. The compressor had been removed before I bought the car. Not knowing much about this area of the car, I was at a wreckers recently and impulsively I bought...

Breakdown of a classic Brown Jack

I couldn’t get the original jack happening so I got this one delivered from New Town Toyota in Western Australia (to Victoria). Does the trick & fits the same slot.

Breakdown of a classic Brown Jack

I recently got an 80 series which has the brown jack. The instructions above were great to get the cap off, but I’m struggling to figure out how to get the outer sleeve off and the centre of the jack out to inspect what is going on jack. When I screw mine up only the centre extends & it doesn’t...

Hey mate, yep it’s a 4.5 litre petrol (which you call gas I suppose). It seems a lot of the 80 series here in Australia have been converted to LPG because of petrol prices, I’ve not had a car that runs on LPG before so I didn’t want to complicate things too much for my first crack at these cars.

Thanks Thanks mate! Yes there’s a tonne of info here. I actually started filming some stuff on the car in lockdown here in Oz. You can tell me what exactly what sort of fancy lights I need from this 😁

Hi all I bought my white 1993 petrol Landcruiser in April. It has done a bit over 410,000km. The body and interior seem in pretty good shape. I’ve never had a 4wd before, & I haven’t been particularly hands on with cars previously but I’m enjoying the learning curve so far. That’s both...
