Just an FYI from my days at the Toyota store, see if a local shop will pressure test the evaporator core. If you hate doing dash work, you surely don't want to do that again if the system gets recharged and the evaporator has a leak. You can leave it in the evaporator case to do this.
You have to also take into the account that the majority of those likely looking to upgrade are not enthusiasts like us. If the used market is any indication, my theory is that the people of new GX customers are coming out of their 460s/470's just 'cause. They aren't the type to obsess like us...
