Actually, looks like it did blow the fuse, just did a lot of damage before that.

What would have caused this? Rusty terminals causing too much resistance? Maybe the fan seized? Wouldn’t these things have blown a fuse? Glad nothing caught fire!😁

I know on my Camry when the a/c button flashes its a bad relay. It’s happened to me twice. Maybe check your relay.

Thanks for the write up! So would replacing just the adjuster bolt be as simple as raising the tire, removing the bolt, and screwing in the new one? I don’t need to reindex yet but I have a bolt that is so rusty it’s getting hard to adjust. If it’s that easy I’ll just replace them.

This has worked pretty well for me. Very sturdy and inexpensive. Only thing I don’t like is that the case is a little big.
