Has anyone modified the stock 88 FJ62 automatic shifter/linkage to work with the 700 R GM four speed automatic transmission? If so, how is it done....we've been messing with it for days. May have to end up ordering a Lokar.
If anyone has any rough measurements for the frame engine amounts we would really appreciate it. Also, I've seen different installations for the frame brackets....does the frame bracket "flat" area that attaches to the engine bracket go up or down?
Does the RPM shift points have any relationship to the throttle/transmission cable adjustment?
If you take all the slack from the cable what occurs?
If you leave it "just short" of no slack what occurs?
