These are definitely the way to go on the older, non-boosted systems. Super easy to change from a single system to front/back circuits. I made one for my '67 but should have purchased when Mark had them available.

I was able to find the Toyota starter connector from these guys: http://www.bmotorsports.com TS187 male the female is on the starter and a bit harder to find. Not sure why you would need to.

From reading the entire thread, I would also add that a battery sitting at 12.5V is not fully charged and could be part of a problem. A good battery should sit for a long time at 12.6V. A battery sitting at 12.6V could also be bad under load. So, make sure you have a good battery. If you can...

Thank you Subzali for bringing this thread up to me. I think the "higher resistance" in the signal wire can be negatively affected by the strength of the battery as well. I had this intermittent starting problem when I was running a dual battery system and I believe my main starting battery...

I put some rust sealer from KBS coatings as well as seam sealer for good measure…on both top and under the truck. Now I’m going to dynamat while I’ve got it apart.

Haha...I was just being sarcastic. Although I do have one side that is starting to show the need. This will be my 3rd knuckle rebuild over the many years. Need to fix a front pinion seal leak while I'm at it. Will probably replace the studs this time as well.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the paint to stick with all the grease and 90wt all over the nuts and studs? Help please!
