The Aussie door cards were great, except they were very thin. They were about 1/16" thick and warped pretty badly over time. The new panels are 1/8" thick ABS l bought on Amazon. I used the Aussie panels as patterns, cut the ABS with a jigsaw and finished the edge with a 1"x21" beltsander, and...

No it doesn't. My kids are grown and l have been sleeping in the back since 2009 so l made a permanent sleep platform for my wife and l. Plus now l am always carrying sleeping bags, pillows, 2 weeks of dehydrated food and 5 gallons of water and all camping supplies full time.

I drove the 60 from Tennessee to California to meet the guys I've been wheeling with for the last 38 years in the Death Valley desert. After driving this vehicle since 2009 with the stock drive train and now with the LS and 6L80, what a fantastic experience. And the LRA 40 gallon tank is great...

Hello Archie, it's been a lotta years since you were cruising the streets of the San Fernando Valley. You sold your 25? I wasn't aware. To someone local? Thanks for the compliment, I've built over a dozen instruments and will be doing it for years to come. I've also been working on my cruisers...

Thank you. It's a real kick to play. I put a piezo pickup inside it and took a Roland Micro Cube and stuffed it into this 1940s radio for an amp. Who said retirement was gonna be boring?

In a completely unrelated post, l now make musical instruments in my retirement out of junk. I made this stick dulcimer out of a 1919 cream cheese box, a yardstick, an old cabinet hinge l found in the desert 4wheeling, and made the neck out of maple. I needed something to press the strings down...

Thanks, I made it myself. I used to run a crazy big shade canopy over it but stopped when I bought the Slumberjack cover in the pic. I've improved on the Slumberjack with more poles.
