Going in a different direction and would like to sell to someone looking to regear. Everything ordered from ECGS about a year ago and has never left the box. Includes 4.88 R&P for Front and Rear 80 series along with master install kits for both and new rear pinion flange from cruiser outfitters...

I'm still in for some of these. My 40th emblems are quite literally melting off the side of my truck.

That's my truck in the picture. It's actually a 40th 1B2. The front pass fender took the worst of it other than the driveshaft which led to me being in this position, but I've gotten most of it out and I actually have a spare pass fender. The rear pass glass busted out but already got that...

Do you expect these to hold up in the hotter climates? My current badges are quite literally melting off the side of my truck. It looks like my truck is crying. :rofl:

Ok, I'm looking for any potential instances of this same issue out there. My transmission in my '97 80 (A343F) went out while going down the road last year. I was driving down the road and coasting down a hill. I got back into the throttle at bottom of hill and RPM's shot up. No noise, no...

I'd rather not buy a new one just to abuse it if someone is looking to make a change. I'm not bothered by dings, dents, scratches etc..

I think space within the case is what's limiting the ratio. I'm installing the 3:1 gears as we speak and I've had to clearance the inside of the case. I'm not sure you could get a bigger gear in there.

If it helps, I thought I had a broken cable but determined it was not broken. I replaced the amplifier and that still did not fix it. I now believe it's the actual controls or the servo motor but, in the meantime, I installed this, and it works like a charm. Just an old school choke cable that...

Take the glove box out and look way up and to the driver side.

You might look into Sunbrella. I have a good amount of experience using it on boats and if taken care of it holds up really well to the elements and is generally waterproof. The downside is it'll tear easier than a vinyl type material.

Hah! I follow them on trails so not for long. It actually does still fit in the garage but only on a full tank!

I'm liking where this is going. What do you plan on using for the soft top?
