I will be passing through your area this Sunday. I can pick them up if still available. Let me know.. My 37" nitto mud graplers are really bad on the highway I could use some spares for between trail rides.
I have been running the FJ rims for several years. 37x12.5 KM2's and now 37x13.5 nitto mud graplers. Ran 12 psi everywhere with KM2's and now 10psi on mud graplers. $125 for 5 FJ rims. The paddles on the rims add traction in the rocks. :hillbilly: I have never lost a bead.
This is a fun location with interesting things to check out. A great trip to bring along the fam or friends as it is mild wheeling. I had a good time on the previous trip. I still had all my fender flares back then. :hillbilly:
Probably can't make the trip this time but highly recommended for...
Trip report: solid wheeling.:flipoff2:
We spent a couple hours helping out a newer grand Cherokee who was in way over his head. First time in rough stuff and he was not prepared nor was his rig capable of doing the trail without damage.
I ran 37"x12.5" km2 tires for several years and just...
Is JB much different than a couple years ago? With 37's it is pretty low key. I took 7 other guys in mine up it in this video. We got through it all pretty quick.
Lots of trucks flop at cleghorn! It's a real axle twister but no real tough climbs so people get lulled into relaxing a little too much. We should get a group together to run there again it's been years since I was last there.
What sort of off road experience do you have? I'd expect anyone tackling this trail to have quite a bit. This trail is not easy by any means. I don't recall getting any body damage from Rubicon but I crumpled some of my roof and rail and removed any remaining flairs on this trail. I have a small...
You need a spotter for sure. It's more challenging than rubicon technically due to the tightness of the trail. You should go with a solid group of wheeling buddies and bring spares and extra fuel. Have a spot device, sat phone, or some other way to send for an emergency assist if it's needed...
We took 4 days and spent an entire day at ershim lake. We arrived there late in the day and spent two nights there. Dusy is a true jeep trail so when your weaving through the woods and you are off camber you must also maneuver tight turns which makes it pretty interesting in countless areas on...
33's are questionable but certainly possible. It would just be a bit tedious. 35's will make it pretty elementary. We'll coordinate together via email to get the dates ironed out.
