Less than a week later this appears to be happening to me right now. Except via text. I had to call @cruisermatt on the phone to confirm. It’s a pretty good scam.
My speedometer cable came apart where it screws into the transfer case. The inner cable itself didn’t snap, but seems where the outer hose gets secured to the screw on part failed. Anyone know how this usually stays in place?
Think just a clamp around the rubber hose to secure it to the metal...
Well here is the temporary solution until I can find a new rivet or better fitting screw.
Basically just forced a screw into the rear of the rivet. Officially the hackiest part of my truck.
Hmmm seems like that pin is a rivet included on the lock cylinder.
So I wonder if I can find / buy a new rivet somewhere to avoid replacing the lock cylinder and needed a separate key?
