Yep! Matt is a stand up guy. He's called me late at night to talk through my order just to get it right and all products are top notch.
He had a run in with Covid and has been playing catch up lately. Be patient.
Skreddy - Who did you use local for the blaster? I wasn't too keen on the place that did my tub and would like to find someone else to do my doors and hood.

Hopefully someone who has gone there will chime in, I do remember seeing a lot of options as I perused the builds here.
I haven't got that far yet in my build and my belts are still sitting in a box.
Yay! Thank you so much Mark for this picture tutorial! This is exactly how mine looks and now I feel so much more confident in the seating.
Just as an added measure I will probably leave the valve cover off and watch the flow since I don't have the cluster gage installed yet.
Thanks Spike! That was my first thought but haven't been able to get a hold of Matt.
That's where the pic came from and they don't show up on the website as a ala carte piece for sale.
The stiffener has a return where it would have been "cut" like it is factory. Are you sure that it is a '70? My 2/70 has a full height rib not factory coped for the booster.
Edit:
Tang distance to the gear seat is the same on both old and new dissy. So in theory even though it sits higher on the block, as long as the O-ring is in, the tang should engage for oil pressure.
I am in the same boat though - haven't put enough together for first start up to test oil...
