I am Jean White and would love the opportunity to join as a chainsaw type/winch cable puller/non-whiner passenger seat warmer. I do have chainsaw and gear that I can bring with. So now I'll just wait with bated breath!
But the springs themselves bolt directly to the 60 series axles?
I'm probably going to extract the 87 HJ60 from the back yard tomorrow. Pull the body, pull the motor and tranny and attempt to get he axles out.
With all this I'm just now wondering which springs to use. I already have the 55 3...
Quick question on the 60 axle perches. Can I bolt my 55 series 3 1/2" lift springs directly to the existing 60 series axles (keeping everything undermount). Then install new (outcropped on the front) frame mounts? Will the back axle just bolt straight in?

Background on truck:
Purchased about a year ago, it is registered as a 1978 FJ55, however the body is mostly a 1974 with some 69 and 71 parts. Bit of a frankencruiser, but I'm ok with...
I'm actually surprised this hasn't been brought up, but I've been looking at using the FJ60 rear heater and it already uses copper lines that run under the body.
I'm sure there are a lot of threads in the 60 section, but this was one of the first that came up...
I shuffled the deck recently:
Just moved some of the inventory around, and blew a solenoid on the 78's winch and discovered the transfer case wouldn't leave 2H. All this because the 73 in the garage refused to fire.
