Postponed for Rain- "better safe than sorry." I'm all for that. I rather not have to drive my rig with my SCUBA gear on in case of flash floods. That's not cool !!

FYI GUYS=Satur evening I made it back to the 10 FWY at about 5:30 PM. Of course I had help-the spirit of Aquaman guided me on my Trek.

I'd like to join up for the Run on Saturday, but that map is not very clear and I'm not sure how to get to the meet up point. Can you give me directions starting from the 95 south of Quartzite ?

Count me in on the Quartzite Run. I have not done a run with the club in a while-looking forward to it. Plus my 4Runner is way too clean right now. John Morgan

Casner Trail Run Pics.

I promised everybody the location of the Mexican Market where the Pollo came from. It's the 'Carniceria Y Panderia El Oaxaqueno. 12005 NW Grand Ave, El Mirage. The guy does not speak one word of English. I guess that's your first clue that it's authentic Mexican Food.

I think that since the road is marked and posted by the Forest Service, that it meets the legal requirements for travel and camping. The fact that it's not on a map does not mean much- maps can't show everything. The pictures seem show that the camping area is clear of vegetation too. But if...

No biggie. It makes a good dipping sauce for chips, or filler for tacos. So I'll bring it for that.

I have homemade spaghetti sauce (frozen in some mason jars). It's spicy and full of meat. So I'll bring that for Dutch Oven Spaghetti.

Cool. I've decided to camp overnight. So you can put me in that group.
