I have two H151 transmissions with transfer cases rom HDJ81 or HDJ101s
Bellhousing is for 1HZ/1HDT/1HDFT, 1HDFTE etc

Greetings,
I have two wide nose 70/79 series snorkels for sale. Though they are wide nose specific, some folks in this forum have installed these on 40’s, 55’s, 60’s and other cruisers. Asking $100 each.
Also have all the interior trim pieces...
I loved looking in my rearview mirror only to see @Beastiethe70
“Hmmm, that kinda looks like a really narrow truck. Is it a 70 series?”
“ Yes, that’s totally a 70… Wait, it’s silver, is that Maggie?!?!?”
“YASSSSSSSSS!!!!”
hey @Beastiethe70 ! great to meet you in line up before the photo!!! so many cool 70 series.
Of course, I could repeat the glowing descriptions of this area, the awesome people, the chill welcoming vibe...it was just plain great!!!!
I gotta...
made it to ft morgan tonight. stopped off in denver for this:
and this:
looking forwards to a long shower, a soft bed, and a bathroom to poop in without the whole campground listening in. 8^)

Having a blast at Solid Axle Summit with some good friends , I do need to figure out where to send my invoice to for fumigating the mountains around Ouray 🤣
I finally got an M10 nutsert mandrel, and put a couple of anchors into the B pillar. My moderately redneck tape measure and blue tape measurements were within a 16th of an inch either side. With a new set of rollbar pads from @joekatana we are...
And here we are in 2025. This truck lives outside and the soft top has taken a beating from the Texas sun. The vinyl windows have clouded and I’ve got a tear in the passenger side flap. It’s still my favorite thing I’ve ever done to a cruiser.
I absolutely love this thread — it’s a perfect challenge for my project!
Hope it’s okay if I chime in with a small addition.
Strangely enough, the roll bar was never offered for soft top models, so there are no factory nuts on the B-pillar for...
Wheel and tire choice make a big difference on our underpowered 70's , when I am not wheeling I always use lightweight aluminum wheels and BFG tires for substantial weight savings that translate in better performance and way better stopping power...
Back from the off road test loop at the cabin. Confirmed 4WD, low range, and cable difflock functions. I pulled the roof rack off to reduce drag. The Kimberley is a fat gal.
I know the feeling. One drip turned into this! Think I got it straight! I do not have the warm and fuzzy's yet. Leave in 5 days to drag a gooseneck and two 40's 2000 miles. I will be watching this over the next few days.
Just got back from the shake-down loop. She's slow like I rememberd. On the other hand, the journey IS the destination. The trailer is just over 3,000 pounds. That's a big ask of a 3.4 liter turbo diesel.
