I’ve got some schottky diodes 1A I think that I used for headlights previously. I just ran multiple in parallel to handle more current.
How many amps would that AC line have?
@SmokingRocks so you never detailed what you actually did to get the idle working?
which wire are you feeding the 12v signal to get the ECU to raise the idle?
probably voltage is peaking higher when alternator is involved.
I use some voltage regulators, ensures a constant 12v (but I'm no expert:meh:)

I actually use these for my driving lights which are a led...
I got my 1157 bulbs, they are bright however are not optimized for the type of lens we have on our vehicles.
So not as good an improvement as the 1156 reverse lights.
Better than any other led brake light I've had but not ideal.
