I’ve got some schottky diodes 1A I think that I used for headlights previously. I just ran multiple in parallel to handle more current. How many amps would that AC line have?

Cool Thanks. I'll use the diode on both the existing ac and the signal line so as not to stuff around with the AC turning on.

@SmokingRocks so you never detailed what you actually did to get the idle working? which wire are you feeding the 12v signal to get the ECU to raise the idle?

I got my 1157 bulbs, they are bright however are not optimized for the type of lens we have on our vehicles. So not as good an improvement as the 1156 reverse lights. Better than any other led brake light I've had but not ideal. Anyway, I bought mine from aliexpress. Link...

Has anyone tried the 1157 version of these? I've got a couple on order.
