I had the no start issue. When I found this thread I replaced EFI relay (100.00 +).
This resolved the no start and corrected the parasitic draw my TLC had on two circuits for the last 1.5 years.
Thanks Ih8mud!!!
11-17 mpg depending on hill/mountain climbs. The dependability of the TLC off sets operating cost for me. Sadly I know I will never be able to afford the repair/maintenance cost of UAW domestic vehicle regardless of how mpg they achieve.
Toyota for the win!!!
I see numerous 100's daily. I also see modded Taco's, Tundras, and 4runners. Just tonight in the grocery store parking lot there were three modded Toyota's and two 4x4 E350's that don't count.
My Tlc had a no start issue. Problem was a loose wiring harness connection located at top right of serpentine belt location. But my MAF and throttlebody got cleaned trying to troubleshoot. Also ordered at EFI relay that I hope I never need. Hoping this may be where my parasitic draw issue...
Appears I may have found the parasitic draw on my 2005. Manual states for 2005 model ECU-B2 10A is for power door lock system/ power windows. If anyone may have suggestions on where I can chase this ghost first would be greatly appreciated. Amp reading with fuse in .20 and with fuse out .01...
Thanks for the helpful replies. I replaced the front wiper blades with Trico's a couple of weeks ago ,much better than the old Bosch's. Bosch's did not last 6 months and expensive. I will try OEM for rear wiper.
I have tried most all wheel cleaners to maintain 6 vehicles . The only one I use is.
Amazon.com: Acid Mag N Wire Wheel Cleaner 1 Gallon: Automotive
Makes many gallons and dilute strength to your needs. I am half through one gallon at 13 months of use. Cheap price with excellent results.
I have pulled the codes before but can't remember the specific number . Codes lead me to change o2 sensor before the cat . Twice I have replaced this sensor resulting in CEL turning off for approx. 5000 miles each time. CEL has been on for the last 175k. Now I curious to pull the code again.
