What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

It was scanned from one of my headrests. And I did not receive the colour code, unfortunately. But due to wear and tear and sun, the colour was not 100% accurate everywhere, but with a full respray, the end result was good, and there are only a couple blemishes I want to redo.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

This is the final result after spraying my worn leather seats with Colourlock's professional leather dye. Pretty good if I may say so, but not quite perfect everywhere...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Thanks! I try to make it as good as I can, although I had to do the spraying in a dusty garagage. Fortunately, it was not windy outside, (Nord-Jæren is a windy place) I disconnected all connectors under the seats, cleaned them with deoxidizer, and coated them with dielectric grease. Some of...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

It is leather dye from Colourlock, but it is from the professional range, and not "Leather fresh" https://www.colourlock.com/all-diy-products/professional-products.html The products I used are: Primer Leather colour Topcoat with 2% crosslinker Also, a sanding pad, gld solvent-cleaner, a...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

I removed the seats, and have started cleaning the cabin. And the seats are receiving a sorely needed refreshing of the colour. I think I have spent five hours spraying today. One hour for primer, three hours for colour, and one hour for topcoat... Hopefully the result will be "good...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

I started out by changing the rear springs to KTRS-79, and managed to rip my rear right AHC-shock in two, in a moment of stupidity... Well, I ordered a new one from Partsouq, and got it yesterday, and installed it, having to make two ugly holes in the floor, as the first hole was too small, and...

100 series harsh ride small bumps.

https://www.knowyourparts.com/technical-resources/suspension/bushing-testing-and-diagnosis/ When installing control arms with rubber bushings, the pivot bolt must be tightened with the weight of the vehicle on the wheels. If they are not, then the bushing will be quickly destroyed.

100 series harsh ride small bumps.

Were the bushes torqued with the wheels on the ground, or with wheels hanging?

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Love that color! My first "Cruiser" was a 90-series, and it had more or less that color. While I do not miss the 90, I do miss the color!

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Had my windscreen machine-polished, so now it is not perfect, but far better than it was. Had the windscreen treated with Rain-X New wipers. Changed the brake fluid (Toyota dot4) Used 1,5l Changed the AHC-fluid. Was not able to flush the accumulator due to the nipple being stuck, but still...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

It was kind of frustrating to do, yes, until I figured out I could rotate the clamps by gripping one of the tabs with a plyer, and by twisting the plyer in the direction that forces the clamps to spread, I was able to rotate them relatively easily to a better position.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Maybe you could try freeze-spray. As an added bonus it is even highly flammable, so after freezing the nest, you put fire to it, and it should go up in a fire-ball...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Changed my low-beam-bulbs to Philips Racingvision. Looks like it is a fair bit more powerful than the original bulbs in my Depo-headlights. Also changed my parking-light-bulbs to some LEDs I got from fleabay. They look very good, with the same color-temp as the glow-bulbs it replaced, but...
