You are probably right. I will probably do the same thing when I drop the bumper in a few weeks to swap the grille. Really don’t see them anyway and removes the risk of cracking the headlight above where the tab is. Good call. I suspect a dremel will do just fine.

That’s partly design of the headlight and the bumper. To get the bumper to look nice and fit well to the body, the edge of the bumper slips into a gap between a headlight tab and the rest of the headlight. I am sure if the bumper is allowed to slip down when it’s not tightened up, it can break...

Just installed mine. Instructions of the type “attach the cradle with the hardware provided” and bag of bolts, is the biggest detractor of this product so far. I hope that the person that wrote those instructions had a dentist using similar level of instruction. Completely useless. I have an...
