    '67 F motor/trans/tranny in arkansas $750obo

I'm yanking the motor out of my '67 FJ40 and don't need it. The head was cracked, but the block looks good other than being old and dirty. comes with 3 speed on the tree transmission and the stock(im assuming) transfer case. email me at jeepdude01@gmail.com if you're interested.

    my first FJ build

so the build is going to be put on hold for about a year b/c i'm going to Haiti to do Relief work with a company called Samaritan's Purse. The truck is going into storage while i'm gone, but on the up side, i'll be putting away money to sink into it when i get back.

ok, things are going slow with the FJ b/c i need to pull the body off and take it up to my dad in Austin so i can start working on the frame and getting the motor out and suspension and steering all fixed up. I did strip down the hood to bare metal and primed it up with a rattle can. i think...

    Saved Another One! - 1967 FJ40

Love the FJ! I picked up my rust and dent free '67 for $750, but it doesn't run. I'm doing a resto mod, so if theres anything that you need, shoot me a PM and i'll let you know if I have it and dont need it. keep us posted and enjoy the weather, we have the same here in TX so my jeep is topless

    my first FJ build

ok, i've been thinking about things and came up with some (probably dumb)questions: 1. is there an axle that i can just swap in to the front of my '67 that has disc brakes? as in what model/years... 2. if i can't swap in an axle, can i just build brackets to do discs on the front like the rears...

    my first FJ build

sold the carb and the block is in negotiations. Progress is kind of slow, but i did buy a roll bar out of a 78, so i at least have protection when i get the thing on the road. I also pulled the heater and cleaned it up and painted it. i think it needs a coat of clear to protect it, but i'm happy...

    parting out '67 F motor

i'm parting out the stock 1F motor that came in my '67 40. it has everything and is all stock except for a york compressor and bracket. The compressor is not for sale unless the price is right. stock oil bath air cleaner has a hole in the bottom(resevoir) part, but the top is fine. i haven't...

Well it's time to start putting stuff back on....

i'm in the middle of taking mine apart, so i'm jealous of you. did you have the frame sand blasted or did you just hurculine over the old paint? also, post pics!

    my first FJ build

Ya, i want the stock look, but with updated technology as i plan on running it as my daily driver. I got the gas tank out and drained the oil and it smelled like there was gas mixed in with it, so the whole engine would have needed a rebuild anyways. the inside of the tank is in really good...

    my first FJ build

well i took more stuff of the motor to try to get the frame to a point i can get it sand blasted and cleaned up. I can't get the stupid bolts off the exhaust pipe, so i'm thinkin the grinder will fix that with the quickness. I also painted the rear diff cover in primer since it was all cleaned...
