The slip joints can take a LOT of grease if it hasn't been done in forever, like around a half-tube for each joint. Pump until you see the joint starting to move a bit.

Excellent point, I've heard of several reports (including @2001LC's) about crimped transmission wiring on the top of the bellhousing. There's not a lot of clearance for jacking up the engine (replacing motor mounts etc.).
I would love to have a setup like that. Keeps the screen for backup cam etc., but also has physical buttons for climate controls, and keeps tape deck, CD changer etc.

It's, uh, actually not that simple. Oils rated with equivalent "hot" viscosity ratings can have widely varying actual (i.e. measured) winter cold-start viscosities. That's part of why oil threads are so much fun :rofl:
