I just ran this trail yesterday, went up to the cabins...ive got some family that owns property off of blue ridge road up from the start of jack flats...fun & beautiful spot. Anyone gone any further like up thru dillonwood? What about other trails like this one in the area...we've got a bronco...
you dont need all the silly bumpers & armour for baja. You need 285's - aired down of course, a lil lift 1.5-2.5", a freshened up maintenance/tune up, and a heavy right foot = go have fun.
oh and maybe a light bar cause its ridiculously dark at night...
call up gadget at urdusa.com and see what he has to say...he's the front runner on toyota forced induction units...but probably wont have anything that came with the kit...and with that being said there's no "1" tune for all supercharged 4.7's out there, you'll most likely need to custom tune it...
Great build. Nice to see a real tube bumber that doesnt have a ridiculous hoop on the front, or stick out 3 ft past the grill. Nice, simple, functional & slimlined...the way they should be.
Slee has an awesome set of their own resivoir shocks they make for the 100 if ur looking to get something that can handle some serious abuse like a set of ICON's or Sway A Ways can...assuming your looking for something for desert speed abuse...
just put theese on before the long weekend....cant believe i didnt do this when i bought the cruiser...soo incredibly worth the $85.00....fully loaded, only put 25# air...holds it all tight....sweet!!!!
when im in baja ripping down the endless washboard roads, frequetly for 100+ miles, on my 285's, and fully ladden with gear, i keep the fronts at 15psi & the rears at 18 or so. Still plenty of air, but soaks up all the nastyness & feels like a caddy....been running like that for many...
