Good question, and to be honest i'm not sure if its only for Weber or not. I aquired this part with a purchase of a used Weber carb. The previous owner had the carb and this pedal/cable mounted on a fj40. I used that carb on a fj60 so there was no need for this part.

Fj40 gas pedal and cable for a Weber carb. If you need one of these now is your chance to save some $$$. These go for around $140 new. check it out on ebay . There is no Reserve on this auction.:)...

I recently purchased a slightly used weber 32/36 dgev carb for my fj60, that was previously mounted on a fj40. I decided to let a mechanic put it on rather than attemp it myself. after it was mounted I noticed the linkage for the throttle didn't look correct. I guess what I mean is that it...

The water pump is on, but I have no belt or pulley on it at the moment to spin it or the clutch fan.

would it be alright if I drove less than 3 miles on a highway with no traffic in below 35 degree weather without the fan or water pump spinning? I need to do this to get it in a garage to work on it while it snows tomorrow, I just want to check before I do any damage.

Today on my way home from work I was driving my 85 fj60 in 4th gear around 45mph and I noticed a noise/rattle I had never heard before coming from my 4x4 shifter. can anybody tell me what this is or what they think it may be.. Thanks.
