Probably late to the thread but I paid 6,500 for an 01' with 240K. I took it to CarMax and they would have given me 7K for it. I say 8K is ok as long as it is as good as you say. In fact...if you don't want it let me know....maybe I will buy a second one : )

Did you ever figure out your front bumper situation? I need to do the same to my 01' LC100.

That is what I was thinking. Are replacing the bushings a big job?

New to LC100's with a question I am looking to buy a 2001 with about 250K on it. I have the history and it looks like everything has been done on schedule as for the belts and oil changes. My question is what else should I be looking ( other than rust ) at with an LC with this many miles...

My gut is telling me not to fix because most people would want to make sure it was done right. Or have lots of photos taken during the process.

Hey guys, I have listed my FJ40 73' last summer but had no interest. I am wondering if I should go ahead and have some of the body repairs done. Although I am not sure that is the reason why no one was interested. Other than what the photo's show, it is in nice shape.

I guess I forgot to mention that although this is a 73', it is an 82 2F engine.

The shop says that it might be easier to just replace the trans rather than tear it apart to replace bushings and bearings.
