Yes the stock halogen is 55w and the SS3 Pro are 36W so I'm just going to connect to the factory wiring and replace the stock fogs. I'm working on taking apart the fog housings to mount them inside the stock housings. I don't like the look of them just sitting in the bumper.
So here is my new dilemma. Ordered the SS3 PRO pods. I want to use them in conjunction with my fog lights. Basically add them into the stock fog light circuit, so they come on with my fog lights. They are 36W, 2.7A. Can I just add them into the the stock fog wiring? I've read some posts saying...
Thanks. Replaced both sets of turn signals, reverse lights, and low beams with LEDs. Now it looks like I need to find the flasher module and get the resistor added in.
Looking to purchase some of these. Using the wiring harness that comes with it, they would act just like fog lights. Is it possible to retain factory fog function, but also add in the back light function from the factory DRL? Or the only way to get the backlit function is using the DD harness...
I want to convert my DRL and reverse lights to LED. And keep the DRLs functioning. It looks like I need to replace both front and rear turn signals with LED bulbs and replace the shunt with the correct size resistor.
Are the DRL and front turn signals the same actual bulbs? Or the same type...
I had the same issues with P0420/0430. These codes are most definitely catalytic converters. Each 02 sensor has its own sets of codes. I replaced all 4 02 sensors anyways, didn't have any affect on the codes. I purchased two of these for the rear 02 sensors- O2 Simulator Mini Cat Cel Fix...
So I got the set of DT LTs from Summit, luckily they were in stock. Are the Burtman Ti studs/nuts a must have/nice to have on the install? Worth the $250 for them?
Thanks. For the LTs, they come with an upstream harness extender, assuming it gets relocated to the collector or just afterwards. Is there room to install the downstream o2 sensors while keeping the same wiring location? or do the downstream need to be extended too?
I ended up buy buying two of these: O2 Simulator Mini Cat Cel Fix stainless steel Rear O2 sensor simulator. - http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/mini-cat-cel-fix.html, for the rear 02 sensors. Codes gone, and OBDwiz says I'm ready for emissions. I think I'm going to keep the manifold cats deleted...
Does anyone have any experience with the DT shorty headers, universal 2.5" cats attached to stock exhaust? Seems like buying headers, cats and having a shop weld some flanges onto the headers/cats so they retain the stock O2 sensors and locations is a better/less expensive setup than OE...
I just replaced all 4 O2 sensors, cleared codes, did the drive cycle, codes came back. Looking at aftermarket exhaust options now vs spending $3k on OEM replacements. Also have a slight exhaust tick too.
The only issue is the PCM does its own 02 sensor checks and has codes for each 02 sensor. And from the data I'm seeing all the 02 sensors are still working.
I did have another vehicle (Toyota Highlander) that had the cats replaced, but not the 02 sensors and still had the codes until 02 sensors...
