Nearly done, some wiring and re-fitting the flare and its good, pic too of the old guard I removed, which has about 5kg of bog in it.

All I would have done differently in this space is not cut the guards originally way back when. At some point I need to replace the other one too, on the long term list.

Bit of work I have had to do, replaced rear doors (I had a good spare set, same colour) and and PITA job replacing the front guard. Much bigger job than anticipated. The one I had was white, i've painted it to match, i'm not a good painter, its good enough though.

Very difficult, they are completey different drivelines and vehicle integrations.

Yeah there is a company here in Aus I've seen advertising B series engines to H15X boxes bellhousings. I'm considering one if my H55F explodes again.

I spent the day today doing light offroading in a 2.8L Hilux 500Nm model and a LC300 TD, both auto. The 2.8L had plenty of poke on the road, everything else about it was unpleasent, lots of NVH, in low range it had virtually no engine braking and the gearing was poor.

Looks fine, change the oil and keep running it.
