The clutch is less stiff when running, yes... I could be just imagining it, but pretty sure it's stiffer than normal when I try to start it now. But, probably a non-issue. I just can't figure out why the starter seems to barely be getting any power

Situation is as follows:
I left my lights on for 3 hours. Still started up fine. Amazingly, later that day, I did it again, for about an hour. This time, wouldn't start. Had my 16yo drive to my location with another car, it quickly and easily jump started, and I then drove for...
Just got it running. The previous owner installed a 2nd gas tank, and it's operated by a small toggle switch. The switch had been bumped so it was not getting any fuel (that reserve tank is empty). So, now up and running, problems all solved!
Well I spoke too soon. While replacing the positive cable made the starter turn over, as I was in a closed garage I left it at that and returned to it the next morning to actually fire up the cruiser and drive it... and it doesn't start. The starter is working great, and the engine is turning...
