Well I read your post to late! Removed the glows one at a time and cranked. I got to cyl. number four and low and behold she blew! She blew oil all over the engine compart ment! So hand crank was a good call! It was the only cyl. with oil so I think I am back in business. Thanks for help everybody!

I'll take the glow plugs out and see.

Hello all! Working on a 81 2h HJ47. So I changed my oil, new filter and all and now she wont turn over. Acts like a seized engine. And yes the starter is trying to crank. Plenty of amps. Oil in a cylinder?

Hi all. I'm going to rebuild the third member in my HJ47. I have been told the FJ40 bearing kits are the same. Is this correct? Noel
