Yeah your lugnuts shouldn't be getting hot what so ever. If you do end up doing a master cylinder look into a T100 swap. I hear there supposed to be great. Although I have no idea what your trucks specs are or what you use it for
If your v6 is a 3.0 dont even consider the swap. Their garbage in my past experience. If its a 3.4 it might be worth the work for you. 22r is my favorite engine of all though. Sooo easy to work on and parts are a dime a dozen.
