More of a "bolt in" than a "bolt on" the dual vvti comes with an engine attached that has almost no common parts with the 07 - 09 engine.... Different heads Different block Different intake, all of it Different oil filter and oiling system Heck, even the spark plugs are different

The OP stated he was doing a service. Thought I'd help with a bit of info before he tore 1/2 the truck apart looking for an external fuel filter that doesn't exist... Sorry about that, won't happen again..... RON

The fuel filter is part of the fuel pump and it's not a service item. Changing it would require removing the gas tank and then the pump assembly......

New Guy's 4 day report (edited) I've had my new FJ for 4 days now and it's the first new vehicle I've purchased where I wasn't 2nd guessing myself..... I bought it Tues eve in the rain and has the VSC bust it's butt to save what it thought was an impending crash twice on the way home... Mud...
