I've had my 69 FJ40 for almost 40 years now. Bought it back when I was 23 years old and wheeled it all over the Northern California Sierras with the family for about 15 years. Life and career got in the way and the FJ got parked in the garage and has moved with me four times. For the last 15 years I've been meaning to to restore it back to its factory state. My son started pestering me to get going on it and now it's become a father and son project. Were in the very early stages of the restoration and have a lot to do. I've found a number of resources including the IH8MUD forum that have been extremely helpful in giving us direction on what we want to do and how to do it.
