Grew up in Grants Pass, Oregon, graduated from Oregon State in 2000 and got into Construction Management/Engineering of power plants. Lived/worked in England, Poland, Dubai, Peru and a variety of areas in the USA since. Recently made a employer change and moved from Seattle to Pennsylvania to Dallas, Texas. I have three great little girls ages 18 months, 3 years and 5 years. The older ones loves the Land Cruisers.
I developed my interest in TLCs while working overseas and doing safaris in north and east Africa. Lots of TLCs being used in challenging conditions. I ended up buying a 2009 HZJ76 for a daily driver and loved it. Regrettably, I could not bring it back to the USA but I did find a very clean original owner 1977 FJ40 soon after I returned. It did not take long to realize the growing family was going to require a troopy and in 2013 I bought a 1984 HJ47 Troopy. It found its way from Washington to Pennsylvania to Texas and gives me a project to work on.
I enjoy traveling, skiing, backpacking, fishing, off-roading, photography, working in the garage.
