LX450 Auto Door Locks Going Crazy

On this vehicle the switch is built into the door lock assembly, not on the back of the cylinder as I previously stated, but there is a switch. I don't think the problem is the door pin switch or plunger. When the vehicle thinks the door is open and you try to lock the doors they will...

LX450 Auto Door Locks Going Crazy

When you lock or unlock the drivers door with the key, the other doors do the same thing. Inside the door (must remove door trim pane) attached to the back of the key lock cylinder there is a switch that tells the other locks what to do, that switch can be causing your problem.

I think my post made it seem like I was discouraged, I think the wheels could have fallen off on my way way home and I still would have been excited. I don't know what to call this feeling I have, sickness? Obsession? Addiction?, whatever it is it should be a fun project. I've already met Luke...

    New 80 owner

Been lurking for a couple of weeks now and finally picked up a 96 cruiser on Saturday. About a year ago my wife had said we should get a mid 90's land cruiser to replace our 2000 4runner that we sold. I guess I really didn't pay much attention to what she said (bad husband), over the next few...
