I didn't have the speaker installed, as I'm just gonna use the carplay for nav, or if there is no service I'll just use the stock unit. The speaker is only for the built in nav, everything else goes through the car speakers. Don't know why that app in particular can't use the car speakers

I got the 3x15mm vials. I got green and ice blue, but the green is a fair bit brighter so even though the ice blue matched the interior lighting better, I installed the green. Might do the blue on the spot lights. I used the norland adhesive they offer, and I got a UV light off of amazon...
