I have had my fj45 for 40 years it is a1965. Has later model front axle with disk brakes, 4 speed tranny with chevy small block and a one ton axle in the rear With disk brakes. I cut a foot off the back of the bed - it looks more balanced that way and a gooseneck horse trailer works better that way. I pulled a horse trailer from Oregon to Florida with it.
