Took forever to restitch (4+ hours), but restitched my steering wheel in perforated alcantara. Thought I ordered full alcantara, but oh well. Let’s see how long this lasts. TRD colors and stitching add +5 HP easy.

I did. I placed the order directly with scheel-mann; they ordered the brackets. Interestingly enough, when I placed the order, I specifically asked about receiving the correct 80 brackets. At least I had, on hand, what was needed to make the changes.

^out with the old! ^in with the new! Need to finish up the passenger side tomorrow. Seats are great…the “Planted” seat rail templates…had to re-drill all the holes.

🤣😂🤣 I have an awesome wife and daughter that love the 80 as much as I do. Before we were married, wife and I would roam the Sierra Nevada, climbing and skiing the backcountry with our dogs, sleeping in the back. Too many memories in the 80! Now that we are in our 50s, my back deserves...

Do it. I’ve been running my SC for the last 130,000 miles. It really shines at altitude. Not going to lie, it’s fun to be able to pass a buddy on the hwy in a 100 in an 80, at 9,000’.

Had the chance to clean up my wiring with a Garmin power switch. After nearly 20 years of adding and adding of stuff, this really cleans up things.

My interpretation of the Tuffy Box mod. I think I did this about 5 or 6 years ago...I mounted the cupholders behind the parking brake to utilize the dead space. It also provides additional clearance for the rear seats -- when we want to run our sleeper set up.

I've been running an Aussie for the last 6+ years. It's been seamless. Personally, I love the ratcheting sounds...reminds me of the squeaky brakes, from running track pads on my track car.
