202 Black — "What color is my Tim" Thread

Update: It is H2- "Medium Grey" according to my Parts Guy at Toyota. I guess the dealers can see via the VIN which color it is but the websites can't! Thanks for all the help.

Thank you. I agree it looks medium grey just want to make sure you know. For reference here’s another Land Cruiser which I think would have the beige but I’m not sure, and it could have the medium grey as well

202 Black — "What color is my Tim" Thread

Hey everyone, I'm getting my 01 ready for the market and I need to fix some trail damage and replace two trim pieces. I have checked online and I cannot decide if my trim is greyish-beige ( 75732-60120-E1 ) or medium grey ( 75731-60120-H2 ). I also don't think it's the Dark one ( 75731-60120-H3...

    Rear Evap Core Removal

The electrical device on the side of the rear expansion valve, is that a solenoid shut off or control flow regulating device? How the fit of the 4seasons Parts? Exactly, that was the piece that was not working on the unit from my first attempt. The one I bought originally did not come with the...

    Rear Evap Core Removal

Also the front is easier to replace than the rear. You can access the front core and expansion valve through the glove box, you do not have to remove the dash. Just wiggle your fingers around and you can manage.

    Rear Evap Core Removal

The systems are connected so the rear can affect the front like it did for me. My rear expansion valve was not opening meaning that the freon was not circulating once the front got cold and the rear never blew cold air. So what would happen is that the AC kicks on and the front AC would work...

    Rear Evap Core Removal

Unless you are seeing dust come out the vents then I'd just move on unless you're already in there then might as well wipe it down. If you are thinking of going in anyways, removing the trim panel is pretty easy but just annoying, but you do have to disconnect A/C system to open the white box...

    Rear Evap Core Removal

A new one is less that $100. You'll also want to buy new expansion valve, pag 46 oil, drier, and o-rings. All together $122

    Rear Evap Core Removal

Yes so the white box in the picture hold the evap core which has a plastic tube that drains behind the passenger side rear wheel well. I'll upload a picture in about 10 min once I'm off this meeting.

    Rear Evap Core Removal

I was going to replace the entire system after the compressor went out. The expansion valve that I put in for this post was actually bad and blocking the flow of freon, I ended up going back in and replacing the core and expansion valve ( I didn't know which one it was at the time of purchase)...

Quick and Easy Awning Mount - No 3rd party roof rack needed

Here is the clearance on the door! It almost touches, if it begins to I'll just hem up the bag because the actual awning is about 2 inches from the bottom of the bag so there is plenty of space. I also painted the cross bars while I was up there. Note - They are just this close to paint, I...

Quick and Easy Awning Mount - No 3rd party roof rack needed

Hello everyone, I don't know if someone has done this before, but I thought I'd share my experience mounting an 8ft awning using the stock roof rack. For context, I installed brackets on my roof top tent to have the awning, but because I like parking in the garage we remove the tent when not...
