Up early doing the last loading. Lunch stop will be at Bravo Burgers which is next to a gas station to feed us and vehicles. It's by the ball park and is on Sportsman Drive.

There is a lot of standing water when the snowpack is enough at Funnel. It spills into a little subpond and trickles out from there. The spot we are going has never had bugs but it's always possible. Frank

Just threw a post re/ weather but it looks awesome. We can expect 60s-70's day, 40's 50's night. It's on a cooler swing so the drive up will be say 100 instead of 110. 10 years of going up there, zero bears. The Plateau is really high desert...

I was checking the weather this morning. Where we camp is usually 4-5 degF warmer than the Funnel Lake forecast.

Do you know where he camped? For example, Baker is usually buggy. Funnel less so. Where we are has yet to be buggy but you never know. Frank
