what about a diesel conversion Is the 3.0 diesel conversion any easier than the 3.4 gas conversion? I have looked at the 3.4 conversion and is looks like it will be fairly expensive, possibly close to the cost of the siesel conversion. Any thoughts?

Does anyone have any experience in swapping a 3.4 6cyl into a 2nd gen 4runner that has a manual trans/3.0 engine/trans combo? I have the complete original drivetrain, but the engine threw a rod. I am looking for a parts list for the swap
