I have my phone paired to use the oem hands free. This lets me use it in and out of Hamilton mode. I think I also configured the Hamilton to “use oem”
This has worked best for me. I’m in Hamilton mode to view maps 99% of the time. But I usually play regular FM radio. Iirc there were times I...
I have husky liners in the front, second row and cargo area. The only place noticed is the dead pedal. The little spikes from the husky mat did chew up that hard plastic piece.
I had been using a hikity dash top and it was great.
Switched up to the Hamilton. Except for the scrolling funkiness cuz 2013 screen tech, it’s been solid. Have had it crash a couple times apparently due to weak cell signal.
Hamilton support was quick with a software update and I have not...
Any of y’all with the Hamilton unit experiencing crashes/resets?.
Installed the Hamilton into my 2013 LC. Use it for wireless CarPlay. It’s been pretty good. Lately have experienced a couple of crashes when running Waze.
For example. I’ll be running Waze. And then “out of the blue” it’ll...
Check out Home Depot? They have a bunch of outdoor/marine carpet in different sizes or “cut to size”. Also large rubber garage/“welcome” mats that might work.
There
there was a thread about this. For my 2013 LC I had to drill a hole to reveal a captured nut in the lower tailgate

Dropped the truck off at the shop.
Using OBD fusion, I was able to see a misfire for a quick second on #4, when getting on the freeway.
They suspect water intrusion from when they steam cleaned the engine. They’re retesting timing and gonna pull all the coils to check em out.
Hey Mud.
Had the timing and valve covers resealed and water pump and tensioner pully replaced this week. Picked up the truck yesterday. (2013 LC 121k miles)
On the way home yesterday, felt a quick stutter — like when you almost stall driving a stick shift. Caught my attention but drove normal...
I’m happy with it. A little spendy compared to my previous Hikity dash top screen.
Aside from the 2013 LC screen tech and related slowness/fidgety swipe, CarPlay works pretty well. The hardware (box and cables) feel well made. The UI looks pretty good. It does what it’s supposed to do. AND it...
hmmm. Does your LC have the “disp” button on the steering wheel? If you press that, does the little screen in the middle of the gauge cluster not have tire pressure ?
If not. I have used a kit like this years ago on my WRX. Worked great.

Ok. Figured this out. Touch the screen, swipe slow. Like take about 1 second to swipe and it works. Slow, but works.
I’m pretty sure this is due to the screen and not the Hamilton unit. This slow drag is consistent with dragging the oem map (which I had never done before).
Like the OP, I have a hikity CarPlay screen… and just wanted something more “integrated”. TLDR got and installled Hamilton. Functionally everything is great.
But I can’t figure out how to “swipe” to other pages of apps. What am I missing? (2013 LC, using wireless apple CarPlay with iPhone 13)
