Hello there
I have a Jeep Cherokee that runs on all BJ 60 Machinary (engine, diffs, transfercase etc. ) I have just gotten hold of a good condition Big Block Chevy V8 7.4L along witht he transmission and TC. Has anyone done this conversion with 60 series diffs? Is it a workable arrangment...
Hello there
Been away for some time and could not check the forums.. Yes we do make these and can make ones which cover the doors. If there is sufficient interest still here (at least 10 such tops), I can send them in to SouthBoston in the next shipment.

As already mentioned. Try it on a sunny day. put a thin sheet of plastic over the rear bow under the top and use your hands on the rear bow to pull the top over it (rolling movements). Donot pull on the straps.. Hope to see nice pictures of a neat fit soon.

Can you post a picture from further off so that it shows all the floor? I can volunteer to get a replica panel for you made. With the hub-cap project in its final stages, we will soon have some free time at our hands. :)

I have always been curious about what you guys do about the heat deformity after all the welding has been done. Is it neglegible with the MIG welds?

The OEM tops and replicas do not flap or leak. This is partly built into the original toyota design itself. Tops leak only if rain water collects over the top and stays there for some time. The design does not allow that.
i would second ocdbeetle here that proper Bow adjustment is also vital...
Hello there
From the pictures, it looks just a bit over the height of our tops and bows. I will get a measurement for you and post it here though.

Hello there
Can you post a couple of pictures of the bows fitted from the side.. Also.. What year doors are you using? There is a slight difference in width in early (yours) and newer models.. The problem you are reffering to might be caused by using newer model doors on old bows..
